Construction Management Software Limited (CMS) specialise in the supply of construction accounts and estimating software to the construction industry in the U.K. and Ireland. Formed in October 2002 by merging a supplier of pre and post contract estimating and valuations software and a supplier of construction industry financial systems. Due to the requirement for for much closer integration between estimating and financial systems the decision was taken to form CMS and to supply from one source, stand alone estimating or financials, or, fully integrated solutions. The result is the CMS Contractor range of modules. At the heart of the system are the libraries which are supplied by CMS for use in estimating and/or procurement. These can be maintained by the user by adding or deleting estimating rates or the resources contained therein as well as changing prices or indeed by the user building their own library.
